Hi, I’m Ivan

I’m a Python Developer focused on backend development, AI/LLM applications, and open-source software.

I enjoy turning ideas into working systems that solve real problems. My main projects are LocalBot, a privacy-first desktop AI assistant that runs open-source models fully on-device, and LocalMind, an Agentic RAG knowledge assistant with hybrid retrieval, tool routing, and source citations — built to explore practical, local-first Generative AI.

Through these projects I’ve worked with Python, local LLMs (GGUF / llama.cpp), RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, document and web search, Django, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Git/GitHub, and desktop application development.

I’m particularly interested in backend engineering and AI-powered applications, and I keep learning by building, experimenting, and shipping open-source tools.
